This course will teach the students about Augmented Reality and how to work on Facebook SparkAR platform and associated technologies.
## Industry Partner School of Innovation from Facebook ## About Foundations of Augmented Reality (AR 201) is the second course in the set of 3 courses designed to skill students in the area of Augmented Reality. - AR101: Introduction to Augmented Reality - AR201: Foundations of Augmented Reality ## Course objective Introduce the students to the concepts around Augmented Reality and enable them to create AR effects with Facebook's AR Platform Spark AR. ## Prerequisites Students are ideally expected to complete AR 101 course ## Device Requirement As per https://sparkar.facebook.com/ar-studio/learn/downloads#system-requirements ## Course outcomes -By the end of this course, the student: - Will be introduced and adept with deep tech concepts such as Augmented Reality, 3D polygonal design and development of effects. - Will be able to work with and understand the current and future use cases of Augmented Reality and apply it to industry defined use cases - Will be able to work with Spark AR Studio for developing a range of AR effects such as Face Effects, World Effects and body tracked AR experiences - Will be able to create, publish and distribute AR effects across Facebook’s camera platforms such as Facebook, and Instagram - Will have key knowledge to promote, analyze and infer the performance, and customer behavior towards AR effects and optimize with data driven approaches ## Any questions?
