A course that informs learners how government systems function during a national or state emergency.
When a disaster strikes in India and the nation moves into an emergency, like the recent Covid19 pandemic, it is dealt with as per the procedures laid down by the National Disaster Management Act 2005.
This course gives students an overview of how the government systems function so they have a clear idea of how to ask for help or contribute to strengthening the governmental system.
Opportunity to Join the GDC - Field Ops
Students who finish the course have the opportunity to join the GDC Community Response Network so that they get alerts of volunteering opportunities at time of national or state emergencies.
